The new Cadillac Escalade near Cathedral City, CA receives many changes for the new model year. New color options like Deep Sea metallic, Latte metallic, and Aegean Stone are available. The back of the vehicle has revised taillights, a new lower bumper cover, and minor trim adjustments. Meanwhile, the front has an updated fascia with a larger grille, illuminated surround, and a new pattern. Also, daytime running lights are below the hood, and a horizontal LED headlamp is offered.
Step inside the cabin, and drivers will also notice many changes. The curved display has expanded to 55 inches, and new color packages like Renaissance Red and Sheer Gray are available. Also, the steering wheel has been redesigned, the diesel 3.0-liter inline-six is gone, and Super Cruise, GM's hands-free driving mode, is now standard across the board.
With the removal of the inline-six diesel engine, only two powertrains are available for the new Escalade near Palm Springs, CA. There's a standard 420-hp 6.2-liter V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear- or all-wheel-drive. Then, there's a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that produces 682 horsepower.
Escalades with the standard V8 and rear-wheel drive earn an estimated 14 mpg city, 19 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined. Whereas, all-wheel drive drops the highway figure by one mpg. As for the performance-oriented V8, this is far less efficient, earning EPA ratings of 11 mpg city and 16 mpg highway.

However, with the Executive package, 40 speakers will become available.
Even with all this, the real showstopper is the Escalade's new three-curved OLED display. This 55-inch combined digital real estate stretches the entire dash and offers everything from the digital gauge to the infotainment display and more.
